Handsome, apparently wealthy, and obviously unmarried, he soon finds himself being sexually blackmailed by Rozsa, an ambitious lady-in-waiting. If he does not satisfy her, she will denounce him to the priests and he'll be burned at the stake, resulting in his True Death. Despite his care, the vampire makes more than one enemy at the Bohemian Court, and by the end of An Embarrassment of Riches, the Count can see only one road to freedom...through death.

Henry Fitzroy is my favorite vampire because< through him, I fell in love with the vampire genre of books and TV shows. Henry is the vampire against whom I now measure all other vampires. Henry is the consumate gentleman and so very sexy. He is timeless and yet of this time. He fills the room with his sense of being, yet is a master at hiding in the shadows. He is the man of our dreams and the monster of our nightmares. He is the ultimate vampire.

My Favorite Vampire is Lestat. He fell to the role of immortality with such gusto....for him, no qualm of blood drinking, no problem in flaunting his power for all the world.
He made children of his own mother, of little girls, of deeply religious men. Only he was able to break the 2000 year trance of the queen and king of Vampires, and that through his personality and artristry. Lestat shows us what we real humans would do, if we were turned tomorrow.
First, last and always my favorite vampire would be Henry Fitzroy. I've seen other actors play vampires (Brad Pitt, Frank Langella, Tom Cruise, Gary Oldman, etc.) but none of them had the humanity that Henry Fitzroy seemed to possess.
Henry made us feel sympathy for the devil, which is what most people would consider a vampire. He had a soul, he knew right from wrong and try to control his feral urges which he knew went against what would be considered morally right. Henry taught us that he could feel a sense of love, loss and pain from losing past loves.
He had a slight sense of arrogant aristocracy, being that he was the bastard son of Henry VII, yet he was still sensible enough to adapt to whatever time period he was living in so he could “fly under the radar” without being detected by the rest of the population.
And last but not least, Henry was so much sexier than the rest of the vampires. His cast members said of his alter ego (Kyle Schmid) that he was “sex on two legs” which certainly translated into the character of Henry. Henry Fitzroy was incredibly charismatic and very successful with ladies with the exception of one (Vicki). He was sexy, dangerous and totally irresistible to most women.
