I think they should perhaps consider a fresher, young face.
I’m thinking of course of Kyle Schmid who portrayed the vampire Henry Fitzroy in tv’s (unfortunately short lived) “Blood Ties”.
He is an as yet to be super famous, but extremely talented young man!
And there’s no denying his appeal and depth as a potential Lestat.

True Blood - my fave episode to date!

This 2nd season of HBO's True Blood is by far the best, and epi. 9 - I will rise up is probably my fave. Definitely worth a 2nd look! ;o)

Bite Bits: Cirque du Freak: The Vampire Assitant.

New images released for the upcoming ( January 15th 2010) of The Vampire's Assistant, based on The Saga of Darren Shan.
The film will star: John C. Reilly, Selma Hayek, Willem Dafoe.

Interesting FYI, to date, this will be Willem Dafoe's 3rd stint at playing a vampire. Previous was in Shadow of the Vampire (2000) and upcoming is in January 2010's DayBreakers with Ethan Hawke.
